That's two coats photographed indoors using flash with Seche Vite top coat.
I find this polish pretty nice. It applies smoothly and evenly, but as you can see in the photos it is very sheer. I believe it is intended to be sheer, though. I think three coats could provide the maximum opacity available from this polish, but I liked it at two. 5/5 Essie usually does a good job.
